Hey guys! My name is Jessica. I am originally from Los Angeles. This is my first time taking classes at RIC, as I am taking a semester off from Brown University. My concentration is called Science and Society. My interests are primarily in the sciences, with a focus on healthcare. I am taking this class, because I have never taken a GEND class at Brown and wanted to expand my interests. In addition, this class looks very interesting and fun. When I am not at school, I love to play tennis. I used to play on varsity for Brown, until I got injured and could not play competitively anymore. I am really looking forward to this class, and taking a class that is out of my comfort zone!
